The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Notts County this weekend.

Hartlepool United travel to Notts County on Saturday February 6 for the game at Meadow Lane and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Darren England
Linesmen: Declan Ford and Mark Griffiths
Fourth Official: Alan Clayton

Match Day referee England has officiated one Hartlepool game this season – the two nil victory over Morecambe back in August. In that game he showed six yellow cards, four to Hartlepool.

He has however already taken in 20 other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he has handed out a total of 76 yellow cards and five red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Accrington and Mansfield on August 18 with a total of ten yellows being shown. He also showed eight yellows and one red in the Portsmouth v Barnet match on September 12.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
