The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Exeter City this Saturday.

Hartlepool United travel to Exeter City on Saturday August 13 for the game at St James Park and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Mark Heywood
Linesmen: Adam Bromley and Adrian Tranter
Fourth Official: Mark Pottage

Match Day referee Heywood has officiated one game in 2016/17 with a return of three yellow cards and one red card.

He took in 27 matches in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 91 yellow cards and seven red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Barnet on August 25 with a total of six yellows shown. Birmingham and Nottingham Forest on September 15 also saw six.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
