Was a point at Tranmere enough for Hartlepool this weekend? Obviously a draw was better than a defeat at Prenton Park, which looked on – albeit it only briefly!

Ultimately Ronnie Moore would have enjoyed his return to his former club, who of course sacked him after initially suspending him after he had been ‘found guilty of breaching the FA’s rules regarding betting’, with a one-one draw on Saturday.

When Odejayi (12) volleyed home early on for the visitors we might have feared the worse with within minutes Fenwick (14) marked his return to the side when he followed up a Fon Williams save to continue his impressive goalscoring form.

A winner couldn’t be found though with us having to settle for a point….

Maybe it’s hard to pick out a ‘Man of the Match’, but who was this for us in this game? That’s what the latest poll is asking so do cast a vote. Did a starter, or someone from the bench, offer us the most on Merseyside?

Select the name that you want from the list in the MotM poll to your right, but why not also share your thoughts with us on your thinking, and the game itself, with some views below.
