Well, that ‘revival’ didn’t last long did it as Hartlepool lost again at the weekend – this wasn’t unexpected though….

Shrewsbury went into the game at the Greenhous Meadow as the favourites so it wouldn’t have come as a surprise in the end that they did win, beating us three-nil in the end of Saturday afternoon.

After a goalless first half Mangan (50) gave Shrewsbury the lead, by the hour Collins (59) had made it two with the points secured by the midway point of the half as Mangan (68) made it three.

Drawing was the expectancy before the game as these were the pre-match polls findings:-

Shrewsbury v Hartlepool

Draw 100%
Hartlepool win 0%
Shrewsbury win 0%

When you’ve lost three-nil it’s hard to pick out a ‘Man of the Match’, but who was this for us in this game? That’s what the latest poll is asking so do cast a vote – did a starter, or someone from the bench, offer us the most on Saturday?

Select the name that you want from the list in the MotM poll to your right, but why not also share your thoughts with us on your thinking, and the game itself, with some views below.
