‘It’s A Good Point’ – Stevo

Hartlepool United boss Paul Stephenson commented that this afternoon’s draw with Doncaster was a good point for his side.

Speaking to Pools official text service Stephenson said:-

‘Given the run they’ve been on, it’s a good point. It was a game of two halves and I think we could have done with a two goal lead at half time’.

Without a doubt the wind dominated the second half, Pools struggled to clear their lines and eventually Doncaster’s pressure paid off as Ross McCormack levelled in the final minute of normal time.

The result sees Pools drop a place to 19th position, still just a point outside the relegation zone. Next up is a trip to Scunthorpe next Saturday.
