Hartley and Luke James In Race To Face Sheff Utd

Hartlepool United stars Peter Hartley and Luke James should both be back in contention to face Sheffield United tomorrow.

Hartley was forced off during the first half against Yeovil last weekend, while James has been missing since February with back trouble but both are racing to be fit for tomorrow’s clash with the promotion chasing Blades.

”Peter is a doubt after he was stretched off last week, we thought it was broken, thankfully not and he’s done some light work. It’s pleasing, he’s been excellent. Neale Cooper said in his press conference.

”Luke is back in training, very positive and there’s no pain in his back – a great boost. But we’ve got to be careful with Luke because he’s at the age where these growth spurts can be dangerous.” he told the Echo.
