Hartlepool United’s attempt to sign Stockport left back Michael Rose should receive a boost when County are finally taken over.
The 2015 Consortium should complete their take-over of the struggling Hatters in the coming days and Rose looks set to be first out the door.
Rose is the highest earning player at Edgely Park and will be allowed to leave, despite having a further year on his contract with Pools leading the race for his signature.
The return of former manager Jim Gannon also seems likely and Rose is on record stating that he and Gannon did not see eye-to-eye during his previous reign as manager.
