Hartlepool United have completed the signing of defender Joe Skarz on loan from League One rivals Huddersfield Town.
Skarz hasn’t featured in the Terriers first team since November due to the form of Robbie Williams and will provide competition for Ritchie Humphreys in Pools defence.
The 19-year-old is well thought of at the Galpharn Stadium and manager Lee Clark told htafc.com the move was to give him further experience.
”Allowing Joe to leave the Club on loan is designed purely to get him some high standard first-team football, both for his own development and so that we can have a look at him in competitive action.”
