Hartlepool United have announced that they are to appeal against yesterday’s 3 point deduction.
Pools were given 28 days to appeal but the club have responded immediately with this statement;
The Club can today confirm that an appeal has been lodged with Football League in response to the three points deducted for fielding an ineligible player.
The Club will be making no further comment on this matter at this time.
