Hartlepool United could be ready to launch a bid for left back Michael Rose, as Chris Turner admits he wants to strengthen his defensive line.
Turner is a fan of the player and nearly signed Rose last summer but he opted to stay at Stockport after the departure of Jim Gannon.
However, he spent the second half of last season on loan at Norwich as looks set to leave Edgely Park as the Hatters prepare for life in League Two next season.
Interest is said to be high in the former Hereford and Chester player who scored against Pools on his Norwich debut back in January.
