Hartlepool United have appointed former Huddersfield and Carlisle manager Mick Wadsworth as the club’s new First Team Coach.
Pools had been without a coach since the departure of Colin West earlier this month and Chris Turner has acted quickly to bring in a new man. Turner stated at the time that he was looking for a coach who could bring fresh ideas into the club.
Wadsworth has had a long coaching career including a spell as assistant to Bobby Robson at Newcastle and was most recently manager at Chester, gaining 2 wins in 13 matches before being sacked last September.

Great appointment, vastly experienced coach, will be good for the players, he should bring out the best in those who have shown potential, but Westy could not reach.
I think this is a great step forward, he will also have great contacts int he game.
I really hope your right VICMICK
good luck with him, hope he never takes over as manager for you :0P
Steve Howard would of been a handy Assistant , and he can play a bit .
