Following a goalless first half we got the chance to take then lead when Featherstone was fouled by Lee Beevers to give us a penalty just two-minutes into the second half. Bird had missed one in our last game so Walker (47) stepped up and he make no mistake.

The Mansfield job was made harder when Brown was shown a straight red card for a terrible high challenge on Walker to reduce the visitors to 10-men, even so we had Flinders to thank for preserving the lead as he made a fine save to keep out Clements.
