Dundee are in talks with Hartlepool United over extending the loan deal for Colin Nish until the end of the season.
Nish made the temporary switch Dens Park in August and has been a regular fixture in the Dundee side since.
The SPL side are now eager to ensure the player remains with the club until the summer, when he is out of contract with his parent club.
The 31-year-old told the Daily Record: ”Hopefully it will get done and dusted soon. I`m happy here – probably the happiest I’ve been for a while.”
