Jack Blackford and Nicky Deverdics have left Hartlepool in loan deals to non-league sides.

Blackford will spend an initial month with Darlington having joined the Quakers on one month loan deal. The winger has already spent time away from Victoria Park this season as he was loaned to Whitby Town.

The 18 year old signed professional terms with Hartlepool at the end of last season having made his debut against York in April. However, the teenager is in need of first team football Dave Jones wouldn’t be able to give him at the moment.

Also leaving the Vic for a temporary spell is midfielder Deverdics. He has returned to former club Dover on a one month loan spell.

Deverdics was brought to Hartlepool by former boss Craig Hignett last summer from Dover – where he scored 16 goals – but made the last of his 24 appearances for Pools this season at the end of last year.

He is another that needs first team minutes but the 29 year old wouldn’t be getting them under Jones at the moment but should get this at the Crabble Athletic Ground for the next month or so.
