Darren Williams has signed a 12 month contract at recently relegated Bradford City.
Williams was released by Pools earlier in the summer and has been on trial with the Bantams for the past few weeks.
The former Sunderland defender made 33 appearences last term but was deemed surplus to requirements by Danny Wilson.
Williams, 30, can play right or centre back and will try to help Bradford bounce back to League One at the first attempt
