Hartlepool United extended their winless run to a club record of 18 games after a late strike saw them lose to Oldham.
Report
An injury time goal from Jose Baxter saw Hartlepool United set an unwanted club record of 18 games without a win.
After a slow start to the game, Oldham were gifted the opening goal after 15 minutes after an error from Scott Flinders allowed Jose Baxter to slot home.
Antony Sweeney grabbed a second half equaliser, slotting home after a Jonathan Franks effort was parried by the Oldham keeper, but that wasn’t to be enough for Pools as a late handball in the area from Jack Baldwin gave Oldham a chance to win the game from the spot.
Scott Flinders blocked Baxter’s initial spot kick but the former Everton youngster reacted quickest to slot home a rebound. 18 games without a win for John Hughes’ side.
