Adam Boyd and Michael Mackay were on the scoresheet as Hartlepool United Reserves picked up a draw against Middlesbrough.
Pools took the lead early on when a Fabian Yantorno’s freekick was palmed away by Boro keeper Connor Ripley into the path of Adam Boyd who slotted home.
It was 2-0 before the break as a Dylan Purvis freekick found Armann Bjornsson, the Icelandic flicked the ball into the path of Michael Mackay who finished to give Pools a comfortable lead at the interval.
The visitors pulled one back on the hour mark when Jonathan Grounds headed home from a corner before an injury time strike from Cameron Park levelled the scores.
