Hartlepool United defender Neil Austin could miss tonight’s game with Bristol Rovers.
The full back was brought off in Pools’ home defeat against Dagenham and Redbridge on Saturday and now faces a race to be fit for the game tonight.
”Neil got a kick on the calf but with him coming off it’s not a good sign because he’s a tough guy.” Mick Wadsworth admitted to the Mail.
”The danger with that sort of thing is that if it gets blood in there it can be very sore. We’ll have to have a look at that but he is a doubt for Tuesday given how close the game is.”
Meanwhile, captain Sam Collins is also doubtful as he continues to struggle with the knee injury he picked up in the win over Oldham.
