Trialist Alex Cooper will start this afternoon’s reserve team game with Gateshead.
Alex, son of former Pools boss Neale, is on trial with Pools after his release from Liverpool at the end of last season.
He joined Pools on trial yesterday and will start today’s game. Andy Rafferty, Jack Baldwin and Steve Haslam are also set to start the game against the Heed.
